Timber-framed door with 6.8mm acoustic glass.

Acoustic foam-lined interior, upholstered in Camira Blazer, a 100% virgin wool fabric.

Frequently asked questions

What can the pod be used for?

Anywhere that needs a quiet, private space. Dapapods work as meeting rooms and phone booths in offices, study pods in schools and universities, consultation rooms in clinics, bookable booths in receptions and coworking spaces, and recording corners for creators at home. The pod is the same — you choose the size, colours and extras to suit the job.

Is the pod soundproof?

No pod is fully soundproof. Dapapods are sound-reducing: they cut noise by up to 35dB, so a normal conversation inside cannot be clearly heard from two metres away.

How is it delivered and installed?

Our own technicians deliver the pod in sections, assemble it on site and take the packaging away. It usually takes a few hours and needs no building work.

Does it need special wiring?

No. The pod plugs into a standard power outlet, which runs the light, fan, plug socket and USB ports.

Can I choose the colours and fabrics?

Yes. You choose the interior fabric and the exterior finish, and you can add branding and optional extras. Use Design a Pod to try combinations, or ask us for samples.

Can the pod be moved later?

Yes. Pods are modular, so they can be taken apart and rebuilt in a new room or a new office.

Can I see one before I buy?

Yes. You can book a visit to our London showroom at 167 City Road, near Old Street station.
